RGB vs CMYK and why we prefer RGB files
We strongly recommend uploading your designs in RGB color mode rather than CMYK.
Our in-house software and printer are specially tuned to our exact ink pigments. Because of this, we can often achieve better, more vibrant, and more accurate colors when starting with RGB files compared to standard CMYK conversions from Photoshop or other design programs.
CMYK is designed for printing on paper with ink that absorbs into the surface. DTF printing works very differently — we are laying down ink on a special film and then transferring it onto fabric. Our system is optimized for this process, and it performs best when given RGB data to work with.
This means you get better color vibrancy and more accurate results with less guesswork on your end.
